My Potbellied pig (and possibly her babies) destroyed their pet bed and ate some of the foam out of it. I called the vet and she said to give them bread. I guess it is supposed to bind with the foam so it will pass. I gave them the bread, but when I fed them tonight, the mother was trying to throw up-but didn’t. I think if she does actually throw it up that will solve the problem but she wont. The babies seem fine, but I don’t know what to do about the mother. Is there anything I can give them- besides bread that will help them pass the foam so it doesn’t create a blockage in their intestines?
She is acting fine now, but would it be a good idea to start her on a veggie oil regimen until she passes it? Could I give her a small amount of veggie oil with her food for a couple of feedings? Any ideas on how long it will be until she passes it- when will she be "out of the woods"?

Hey, whoever has a potbellied pig, or any pig for that matter, what color is it, and whats its name? Also whats its age, and weight?

Its okay. If you have a big yard, then you’re most likely to get a pig. Just call your local animal police. Or people who like control your city

If anyone has eny info or has one please let me kw like: What is the best thing for them to eat, are they AFFECTIONATE PETS? and shuld I get one at all? Another question that I had is if I got one which one should I get, I know that their are 2 kinds miniature potbelly and vietnamisse (sorry for the spelling) What are the characteristics of both. how much do they WEIGH I have no clue how much they weigh when there full grown. And which oe in general should I get. So thanks any info or stories would really help and I LOVE PICTURES. Is a miniature pig the right thing to get?

Hey there. If you see i posted things on Potbelly pigs and i finally decided what one i would love to get! Painted Miniature Pig! Know i don’t know if i am getting it yet because my mom said she has to see if it will reck the house (ruin it)? Will it? How big do they get? What colors? Anything you know? What food?
