Can you solve this riddle?
A farmer hired you to build four pens for his pigs. Each pen has to have an odd number of pigs, and there are nine pigs.
***You can’t butcher or release any of the pigs, so don’t even try.

one of the pigs is pregnant so i’d put that one in a pen on its own then put another pig in a pen on its own then put three pigs in the two remaining pens for a total of nine pigs in four pens

build each pen inside the other and put all 9 in the middle

I’d build one pen inside another, then two other pens. In the two freestanding pens there are three pigs each. In the inner pen I’d put one pig, then two in the surrounding pen. Technically, the outer pen contains three pigs, but there is the inner pen included in the count.

1 each for the first two pens, 3 for the third then 5 for the fourth.

build three pens with three pigs in each then build a fourth pen around the three pens
