One of my 2 pet guinea pigs died what should I do for the other?
I have(had) 2 pet guinea pigs one died. The one that died was losing weight energy and just showing signs of death. I heard that you should get another companion for the living guinea pig. That is not an option right now. The alive pig is showing no signs of death. and looks like she will live for awhile longer what should I do for her.

Well I would certainly get her a friend. After my female died, my other pig was very sad; I believe. She would never squeak and barely would eat. But I would get her a lot of veggies to chew on, and a lot of lovin’. Guinea pigs are very social animals, and if they don’t have companion they most likely won’t be happy.
PS. If someone answers: "They do not NEED companions", this statement can be true or false. If they guinea pig has lived alone for most of it’s life then, no, it does not need a companion. But if the piggy HAS lived with other piggies, then yes it needs companionship from it’s own species.
