30 since pigs and chicken share like characteristics except feathers will go with pigs.

Therefore this riddle is illogical, I’m not answering.

the number does not have to be 30 or 28, it can be 3, 0, 2, 8. I am saying the answer is ZERO because 30 pigs and 28 chickens are 30 pigs and 28 chickens!. They are not, not them selves. Nice riddle
