The person who gave me the little piglet told me we need to treat like a newborn. I let it run around the house so it could get used to the house but I read you should start of one room at a time and that you should let the pig come to you. It runs away every time I try to pick it up. My 11 month son loves the little piglet and likes to crawl after him but I am afraid he is scarying the little guy. Now my dogs are a different they are trying to bite it. The person who I got the piglet from told me pigs make good companions with dogs and I read otherwise online. Please I am in some desperate need of advice/tips.

I want an animal that loves to cuddle and be held and petted, I have tried for a very long time and this is what ive come up with:

Dogs- require too much attention, i go to school monday-friday for 8 hours a day and felt guilty because i didnt give it the attention she neede.

Cats- the laziest beasts ever! had a few and all they want to do is sleep, yawn, or look at you like you are entirely stupid (which i may be =])

Guinea Pigs- sweet little creatures, but a bit noisy and expensive to keep up =]

Ferrets- these are my favorite, such sweeties, but they are verrrry hard to clean up after…plus they steal your stuff

Any kind of rodent, spider, reptile is out because my mom HATES creepy crawlies and snakes and such.

So im thinking a Netherland dwarft rabbit. Tell me every thing you can about them im having trouble getting first hand responses from people. Which is the best breed, boy or girl, of course what ever i get will be fixed. What games can i play with them and how big a cage?
EVERYTHING you know would be helpful.

So how do you do it, can I use a hair dryer I’m not sure cause he’s kind of tiny, do I have to use some kind of special type of shampoo… does he like warm or cold water? My brother has a pot bellied pig who is almost a year old who gets along great with him and his wife and my parents. But when more family comes over, she nips at them. I have also brought my little jack russell home with me a couple times that the pig has been there and she has taken a few bites out of my dog. My dog is like my child so him being hurt, doesn’t make me happy when a pig bites him. He doesn’t know what to think of her or how to act. He’s not aggressive at her at all. I know they are a lot like dogs in that the humans have to be top pig or else they will show aggression, but is there a better way to keep them from biting others? Show her that us humans are the top pig?

Hi. I have a 2 acre yard and a lot of space within it. There are lots of oak trees and little lawn because of shade from the oaks. I was thinking about getting a pig. I have a vietnamese pot bellied pig, she is about 5 months old, and she has always been a good pig she always ate and slept with the dogs and was never any trouble but lately she has been running round knocking the water bowl over and she keeps trying to run off to the next field where there are some wild boars in a pen.
She also keeps screaming and there is nothing there. Does anyone know if she could be in season?

I honestly think that i have a tape worm. I eat a lot non stop. I feel like a pregnant person eating for two.

My mom once told me that her brothers and sisters had tried some remedy that her uncle gave them to get rid of it. It was some liquid they drank and the tape worm came out when they took a dump.

I remember my mom telling me this story when I was little.
But I just can’t remember much about it. I’ve always been a pig. I dont know…hahaha when I was little i used to eat a lot like almost every hour I couldn’t go by without eating except when I was sleeping and I never gained a pound I was stick skinny.

And now that im older it’s just about the same.I gained a little bit more weight. I weight 135 now. it goes up and down. But i sometimes I can’t help my urges from eating. even if im not hungry. I don’t feel full. and other times my stomach hurts for up to an hour if I eat to much and don’t even realize it.
