Ticks on Potbellied Pig?

What can I use to get rid of ticks? Are standard tick shampoos safe to use on a potbelly?
Well I actually just got him, he was raised in the house but had been kept outside lately. We’ve brought him back in the house (first time pig in the house, and I must say I’m very impressed with his manners!) but anyhow, since he’s going to be in the house a lot, I really just want to eliminate them right away.

i need advice for an ill piglette, 4 weeks old with a major case of the poops..?

we just got a 4 week old piglette. she took heself off the bottle/formula about 3 to 4 days ago…she is eating pellet food and drinking water….we did catch her eating dog and cat food so we put them up and she is still having the problem. she shivers alot and seems to have sunburn on her head, ears and back….what can i do to help her problems and does anyone know what it can be from? any information will be greatly appreciated…she is NOT a potbelly she is a regular feeder pig like for 4-H being kept as a pet. thanks for your time in advance…..

Is it wierd to have a pet pig?

My mom and i went to a pet store. We saw a sign that said we carry exotic pets. so we went in and they have the most ADORABLE potbelly pigs. small then a normal sized puppy. they are only 0 but i think it may be wierd if i had a pig. image it like this. a group of kids. one says i have a dog, another says i have a cat, another says i have a fish, and i say i have a pig? i think it may be kinda awkward. What do you think? would you get a pig?
forgot to add they dont grow much bigger than they are now. they are like teacups, but thats not what its called

How big do potbellied pigs actually get?

I’ve really wanted a potbelly big, but I don’t know how big they get! I live in the city, so it can’t be very big. I’ve heard people say they can get up to 500 pounds! I really need to know the real size of theses pigs.

Potbellied Pigs?

I really want a potbellied pig. And no, I am not an impulse buyer. I have done a decent amount of research. The only thing that faced me with a problem was that on one of the sites I visited, it said that a potbelly should never be near a dog. But other sites beg to differ. Anyone have any ideas?

And on top of that, does anyone have any reasons why you wouldn’t want a pig, so I can think about why maybe I shouldn’t get one?

Anyone knowledgable on potbelly pig and what I can safely give him over the counter to act as a mild sedative?

He has a appointment with the veterinarian tommorow and anyone that knows the tempermant of a potbelly knows that they are very high strung and get stressed very easily. The vet never called me back on this matter of what I could possibly give him before taking him so that it would make his trip up there less traumatic for him, as well as everyone around him. Anyone know what is safe to give him?? Like maybe benadryl to make him drowsy?? Only genuine knowledge on this is appreciated because his safety is my utmost concern. I appreciate it!!!
