Do you think my son will like these shoes?

I went shopping online today for my kids. Early Christmas shopping. Anyway, I bought my son some shoes but he has really low self esteem. Do you think he’ll like them?

By the way, he’s 12 and he just came out. We’re trying to be supportive.

Thanks in advance.

A question about piglets..?

My son is wanting a piglet, not so much a potbellied piglet, but he would take that also, but he really just wants one. It seems very hard to narrow a place down on the internet to find out information on them, such as health and food, plus prices on breeds, he wants it for a pet only. This is not because of the movie either he has wanted one since summer but while we were researching everyone said that it wasn’t the time of year to get them??? Any info would be helpful, thanks..especially the age to acquire and what time of year they are born..? Thanks in advance..I know they get very big and there are different breeds, we do not want this for meat please only as a pet..Pigs are smart.

Guinea Pig Questions?

I’ve had my long-haired guinea pig (Muppet) for going on 2 years now. I don’t know anyone else with guinea pigs so I don’t have anyone to ask these questions to. I guess I’ve been doing things a certain way with Muppet and I’m curious to see if other people do the same or differently. And I’m also looking for some advice.

1. Pooping in his house:
He used to go to the bathroom in a corner in his cage, but for a while now he’s been going just in his house. How can I change this? Should I get some kind of litter stuff and put in the corner (I feel like he might just turn his nose up at it)?

2. Staying in his house:
He actually rarely comes out of it, unless he’s eating. He’ll drag his house around the cage so he doesn’t need to exit it, it’s sort of funny actually. I wondered if it has been the winter months and maybe he is just cold. But it’s kind of new behavior. How can I encourage him to come out of his house? (maybe ziptie it to the cage wall so he can’t drag it with him?)

3. Veggies:
I wonder if I feed him too many veggies (he chooses this over his pellet food) – a handful of carrots and/or spinnach every morning and evening. How many veggies do you give your pigs?

4. Cage Size:
I want to get him a bigger cage, but they are so expensive! How big is your (single) pig’s cage? Any suggestions for places to buy online?

5. Cleaning:
How often do you clean your pig’s cage?

OK that’s all I’ve got. Thanks in advance for your advice!

Really hard math question help please~!?

Two farmers agree that pigs are worth 0, and chickens are worth 0. If any one of the farmers owes the other money, they just trade back pigs and chickens. For example, if one farmer owed the other 0, then he would give him 2 chickens and get 1 pig back in return. What is the smallest amount of debt that could be paid back in this way???

This was a problem on a math practice test. How would you do it?? Thanks in advance

Where can I buy stuff to practice suturing online?

I am starting my third year of medical school and I would like to practice my suturing skills at home. Basically all I need is sutures/needle, a needle holder, a pair of forceps. I figure i can buy some pig’s feet or other meat to practice on. My problems is that all the suture practice kits are both way more than I need and extremely expensive. I haven’t started rotating at the hospital yet so I can’t ‘borrow’ leftover stuff from there. Basically my question is, where can I buy these items cheaply online? Thanks in advance for you response.

how many of each animal does the farmer buy?

A farmer goes to market with 0 to spend. Cows cost each, pigs cost each, and sheep cost half a dollar each. The farmer buys from the cattle dealer, the pig dealer, and the sheep dealer. She spends exactly 0 and buys exactly 100 animals. How many of each animal does she buy?

Thanks in advance!

What is the average monthly cost to care for a Guinea Pig?

What is the monthly cost to care for a guinea pig?
I’m interested in having a Guinea pig and I’m doing a little research. I’d like to know what is the average monthly cost to care for one guinea pig? By monthly cost, I mean food, bedding and hay, NOT including treats, toys, vet costs, etc.

Also, if you have any suggestions for excellent brands of food, bedding and hay, feel free to share!

Thanks in advance for the help, I appreciate it!

Have a great day. =)
