my sister has 2 beagles who were around while she was pregnant and while my neice was growing up. She is still under 5 years old, and the dogs are great, they are very protective. When I was growing up, we had cocker spaniels and golden retriever. Both were awesome and friendly dogs. Go to an animal rescue center, the dogs need to go to loving homes and there are shelters that have certain dogs.

i have a black lab and she is great with little kids and you might want to buy the dog becuase you don’t know the habbits that the dog picked up from their old owner.

Golden Retrievers are really good with kids. I have a Coton de Tulear and she is the sweetest dog and loves all people and other dogs but she will only be 15 pounds so if you don’t want a small one forget it.

By far the best breed for kids is a golden retriever or a black or gold lab. They are loyal, easy to train and live quite long. I have two retrievers and my neices and nephews crawl all over them and they don’t make a fuss.

Please adopt a dog. They are very grateful and will be a loving and loyal pet. Smaller dogs have longer life spans than big dogs. Medium-sized dogs fall somewhere in between. Please go to your local shelter and look at all the wonderful dogs. You’ll find the perfect dog for you and your family. The staff at the shelter will advise you on the temperament of the dogs.

I’ve always heard that the Golder Retreiver was the best with kids. I have a Dauchshund and he’s real good with my one year old, but he’s a little dog. He is a real good watch dog too. He’ll bark at anyone who comes to the house.

I would say if you want a larger dog to go with a golden retriever or a lab. They are both great with kids. I would suggest getting one as a puppy so it and your kids can grow up together.

Golden labs are smart, loving, and great with kids. I firmly believe you should look to adopt because otherwise these dogs will be put to death. It may be more difficult choosing which dog to adopt because most of them are not puppies, but I am sure you can succeed. These adoptable animals have been seen by vets before they are put up for adoption.
I adopted an adult cat and I am very pleased with my choice. it took time to socialize him to the point where he is trusting and loving, but this little guy behaves better than most cats..

I have a labradoodle. She is a perfect. Labradoodle do not shed and they are hypo-allergenic. They are very friendly with everyone. They are a medium size dog. They are great with kids too. They love to play but aren’t very needy. They need a lot of brushing though.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels (like small Goldens; they love everybody!), Golden Retrievers, Shih-Tzus, and Beagles. Steer clear of tiny small breeds like Chi’s, Yorkies, and Poms– they don’t get along very well with young children and can be nippy. And personally, I wouldn’t trust Pitbulls, Rottweilers, Chows, or Akitas around kids, either.

short haired dog.that can take the pain a kid gives sometimes.always get a puppy for kids.so they can grow up with each other. if you spank your kids you might not want to get a pit bull. sometime pit bulls wont let you spank your kids when the dog gets older.like 18 months or so. but a pit bull is the best dog.they can take allot of pain and protect very well. but get it as a puppy 8 weeks.

Newfoundland
They are great dogs, and big, they are also WONDERFULL with kids… My uncle just got a newf mix about a year ago and he is just great, he is also a great ‘babysitter’. Their kids are 2 and 3 so if they go somewhere they aren’t suposed to, the dog will literally try to round them up and bring them back. These are great dogs, here’s a website about them if you want a little more info :
